"30 Rock", a New York based television series, created by Saturday Night Life alumni Tina Fey, will start its third season in October. Fey admits her creation was influenced by her days on SNL.

Selena Gomez Stars In "Another Cinderella Story" - Review And Movie Trailer

Poor Selena Gomez. One minute she is accused of a nasty, bitter feud with Miley Cyrus, and the next minute she tells the world the two young pop stars are best friends forever.

Her wholesome image has been tarnished with leaked internet photos, and she is accused of being positioned as the next Hanna Montana. That's a lot of pressure for a young actress and singer.

But now Gomez has the opportunity to show audiences that she can carry a full-length feature film in the romantic musical comedy "Another Cinderella Story", an original musical dance comedy based on the Cinderella fable and directed by Damon Santostefano.

As you can imagine, the story is a familiar one, but with a twist. An ultra modern setting for "Another Cinderella Story" finds Selena Gomez in the modern teen world of cell phones and pop music. Instead of loosing her slipper at the ball, she looses her Zune music player, her mother goes "clubbing" with Paris Hilton, and pop music and dance routines showcase the actress and the movie's characters.

It is the story of young love, and how far one will go to fit in.

Plot: A young man (Andrew Seeley) who dances with what could be the girl of his dreams (Selena Gomez) at a costume ball, only has one hint at her identity: the Zune she left behind as she rushed home in order to make her curfew. And with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in front of him, he sets out to find his masked beauty.

Kids will love this movie - adults, not so much. It lacks the glitz of "Ironman" or "Indiana Jones", and is clearly a vehicle to show off the young talents of Selena Gomez. The film is a mindless romantic comedy, with a lot of singing and dancing, and a harmless way to spend an afternoon.

Selena Gomez can currently be seen starring as Alex Russo on the family comedy television series "Wizards Of Waverly Place", a story that centers on a family in New York City that owns a restaurant where, behind the scenes, the kids can do real magic.

Gomez has also appeared in three episodes of "Hanna Montana", voiced the character of Helga in "Horton Hears A Who" starring Jim Carrey, and will appear as herself in the "Jonas Brothers: Living The Dream" concert series documentary.

The next big television project for Gomez is the family comedy "Princess Protection Program", due in January and starring Demi Lovato. The film focuses on a tiny country that is invaded by a dictator, and the young Princess (Demi Lovato) who is taken into custody by the Princess Protection Program.

"Disaster Movie" Will Make You Laugh - Review And Movie Trailer

When the world is threatened… When our lives are at risk… Who can save us?

You can tell summer is drawing to a close when films like "Disaster Movie" start showing up in theaters. The big Spring epics are behind us, and movie studios are preparing for the Thanksgiving through Christmas release of the next wave of blockbusters.

In the meantime, we have to wade through the jungle of high school comedies that will be with us for another two months.

"Disaster Movie" is one of those flicks you will either love or hate, a throwback to the "Airplane" and "Scary Move" style of comedy. The plot is simple: Over the course of one evening, an unsuspecting group of twenty-somethings find themselves bombarded by a series of natural disasters and catastrophic events.

And the scenes are full of parody, sometimes razor sharp, with impersonated cameos from Hollywood's biggest celebrities, in a setting that says what you and I would like to say, but just can't muster the nerve.

It's all here in "Disaster Movie". You don't even have to try - it just comes at you over and over, with jokes and celebrity ribbing that will have you laughing just thinking about what went on during the filming of this movie.

There are appearances from Iron Man, Hanna Montana, Amy Winehouse, The Incredible Hulk, Will Smith as Hancock and a funny "Juno" meets "The Zohan" scene that is hilarious.

This is a movie for those people who have seen way too many movies this summer, and know way too much about them. You won't recognize any of the real actors, but you will recognize the actors they are spoofing.

Justin Timberlake, Hellboy, Kung Fu Panda, Enchanted, Desperate Housewives, Sex And The City, Indiana Jones - they're all here. You will recognize every joke, every jab and every impersonation.

"Disaster Movie" is the perfect way to say good-bye to summer and get ready for round two of the epic blockbuster movies hiding just around the corner.

Shia LaBeouf Back To Work After Accident And Wrist Surgery

After a nightmare truck accident and emergency surgery to repair his crushed wrist, Shia LaBeouf is back to work on the set of "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen", sporting a large bandage on his arm and left hand.

LaBeouf's injuries stem from his July 27 car accident while driving with passenger Isabel Lucas, when another driver, Simon Herbert, ran a red light causing Shia to flip his pickup truck at 3:00 in the morning. Shia was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he underwent hand surgery to repair his left hand and fingers.

"Transformers 2" director Michael Bay says Shia's injury will be written into the new script, making it a part of the story, and will find a way shoot around it. Production of the movie was slowed while LaBeouf was in the hospital, but sources say the action thriller is still on target for its June 26, 2009 release.

The movie stars Shia LaBeouf as Sam Witwicky and Megan Fox as Mikaela Banes, and is directed by Michael Bay with a screenplay developed by Ehren Kruger and script by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.

Other interesting casting includes "The Office" funnyman Rainn Wilson as a College Professor and Josh Duhamel as Captain Lennox.

Shia LaBeouf will also be seen next February in the romantic "New York, I Love You", an anthology film joining several love stories set in one of the most loved cities of the world, New York.

Also completed and due next month is the thriller "Eagle Eye", starring Shia and Billy Bob Thornton, the story of two strangers (Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan) who become the pawns of a mysterious woman they have never met but who seems to know their every move. Realizing they are being used to further her plot for a political assassination, they must work together to outwit the woman before she has them killed.

"Hamlet 2" Opens - See Early Review And Movie Trailer

"Hamlet 2", is a little movie that's getting big laughs. The film centers around a failed actor and failing high school drama teacher who thinks of himself as a playwright. Needless to say, he is the only one who thinks this way.

Plot: Dana Marschz (Steve Coogan), plays the failed, untalented actor, who also works as a drama teacher for a high school in a Tuscon, Arizona. When he finds out his much-loved drama department is going to be shut down, Marschz tries to save the day by creating and writing his own play - a sequel to Hamlet, featuring exotic time machines & a cameo by Jesus.

Review: From the first scene of the film, showing clips from Marschz not-so-successful early show business career, which included a herpes cream commercial and a small role on "Xena: Warrior Princess", to the ending credits, you will find a lot to laugh at in "Hamlet 2".

Coogan's character, Dana Marschz, is able to be both funny, and emotionally moving at times, as the character is able to show genuine sadness.

Marschz's scheme to save his failing drama department is to write and stage his own version of "Hamlet". His play is so completely over the top and bizarre, especially when he appears as Jesus Christ and performs a musical number called "Rock Me Sexy Jesus", that the faculty tries to stop the production.

The supporting cast is also convincing, especially Elizabeth Shue who portrays a caricature of herself, and also notable is Catherine Keener as Marschz nasty wife. Keener's got a real talent for comedy. David Arquette plays the couple's dim-witted house guest and also adds to the cast, and Amy Poehler plays an ACLU lawyer, with some really funny lines as well.

If you don't have anything to do next week you should plan on seeing "Hamlet 2". It is a harmless comedy that anyone can watch.
