First look: Miley Cyrus strips down to red bra and tiny shorts for her new film So Undercover

By Daily Mail Reporter

Grown up: New pictures from film So Undercover show Miley Cyrus in a lacy red bra and orange shorts

Not so long ago, she was one of Disney's most beloved teenage stars, appearing on hit tween show Hannah Montana and playing sold-out concerts to thousands of young fans.

But Miley Cyrus is clearly growing up fast, judging by these photographs from her latest movie.

The 18-year-old star strips down to a pair of short orange and red night shorts and a lacy red bra in one scene from So Undercover.

The comedy film, released this October, features Miley as an investigator hired to pose as a sorority girl to protect a mobster's daughter.

'She's basically this chick who grows up as a super tomboy,' the actress and singer told MTV during filming last year.

'She's an FBI agent and gets thrown into a bunch of girls that she doesn't understand because she's been around her dad who's been in the FBI his whole life.'

The new images show Miley wearing a variety of brightly coloured outfits, including a bright fuchsia pink top and shorts with matching accessories.

In another scene she is seen getting close to co-star Joshua Bowman.

The singer and actress has clearly enjoyed her role in the film which stars Jeremy Piven and Kelly Osbourne.

'I've been doing fighting, like learning how to box, mostly like street fighting,' she added. 'If someone comes up from behind you, knowing how to be able to defend yourself.'

But filming was not without its pitfalls.

'I have a trainer and I have bruises everywhere from, like, kicking the bags. And I've learned how to use guns, which was really scary,' she said.

Miley also became close to her co-star Kelly Osbourne during filming, due to their similar upbringings.

Kelly told the Daily Record newspaper: 'I didn't know Miley well before. We had only met once or twice but as soon as we started shooting it was pretty instant how we got along so well.

'She just gets it. She has a really similar upbringing to me - though her side of things is on a completely different scale to mine.

'I'm from rock 'n' roll music and hers is country, but she gets it.

'It's nice to hang around an unaffected girl you can have fun with and understand what I go through and I understand what she goes through.'

Casual and chic: Miley sports several different looks in the film including a low cut white top with heavy eye makeup and a more casual checked shirt

Miley Cyrus Is Back With Liam Hemsworth

There had been a lot of speculation on who Miley Cyrus is dating ever since she mentioned in an interview that she was no longer single.

And on the top of the list of possible boyfriends was her ex Liam Hemsworth, who Cyrus first met on the set of the movie 'The Last Song'. The couple were together for over a year until they called it quits in August last year.

Now, a source close to Cyrus has told HollywoodLife.com that the 'Hannah Montana' actress is indeed back with Hemsworth and her parents calling off their divorce played a huge part in the couple getting together.

The source is quoted saying, "Miley is so thrilled at her parents reconciling, and it made her stop and think, and realize that Liam is someone special in her life. Their feelings for each other never stopped, and now that their schedules are better suited for each other, they have been able to work it out."

The person also added, "Plus her parents trust Liam."

When asked if Cyrus and Hemsworth were really back together or if they were just close friends, the person replied, "They started talking more at the same time Miley's parents were mending things. They started getting back together around Valentine's Day and are now back on as boyfriend and girlfriend."

Things seem to be going well for Cyrus who recently got back on the social networking site Twitter after she closed her account in 2009 claiming it interfered too much with her private life.

But with all the good news comes the bad. An inflatable Miley Cyrus sex doll named "Finally Mylie" from Pipedream Products has reportedly become such a hot ticket item that stores can't meet the demand.

Miley Cyrus Returns to Twitter and said: Thanks to Charlie Sheen

On March 29, Miley Cyrus did something she swore she'd never do again: She returned to Twitter.
Cyrus quit the social networking site in 2009, claiming it interfered too much with her private life,
and shut it down for good. She has since been Twitter-less -- until now.

Most recently, Cyrus tested the waters and tweeted via her producer Rock Mafia's page two weeks ago. "This is my new way to connect," she tweeted. "When I need to speak out I will tweet from @Rock_Mafia."

Just four days later, Cyrus opened her own account under the name "gypsyhearttour."

Cyrus mentioned that one of the main reasons she came back on Twitter was to follow Charlie Sheen, "Do not fear...the Sheenius is here!" I'm not gonna lie. I came back to twitter for 2 reasons. My fans and to follow @charliesheen #winning."

Her new Twitter account may be a promotional tool for her upcoming Gypsy Heart tour, but Cyrus has already slipped into her old routine, tweeting, "Yo guys! Its MC! Thank you so much for my KCA! PS I am taking over the Gypsy Heart twitter! Gotta keep ya posted on tour ... Lets get me back to as many followers as before!!!!!! SO EXCITED FOR TOUR I CAN BARELY STAND IT."

Cyrus' return to Twitter seemed unlikely since she recently told Australia's Sydney Telegraph that she does not tweet. "I do not social network, I try to stay out of it," she said. "I complain enough about people knowing too much about my private life, so to go out there and exploit myself would be silly and hypocritical."

Miley Cyrus' Gypsy Heart world tour kicks off in Quito, Ecuador, on April 29.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Back Together

Rumors are spreading that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth haven’t sung their “Last Song” yet and have gotten back together!

According to an E! News source, Liam will be joining Miley on a trip to his homeland of Australia during a stop June 21 on her Gypsy Heart tour.

“They’ve been hanging out a lot,” a friend of Liam’s says. “They’ve been trying to do it away from the cameras.”

And Miley even hinted they got back together on Thursday when she chatted with Syndey’s 2Day radio station saying, “I love Australian boys obviously.”

But E! News sources says, they two are “taking it slow and just enjoying each other’s company.”

Don’t believe the rumors?

Well, TMZ has obtained a photo now of Miley and Liam leaving a Coffee Bean in L.A. together yesterday.

Miley Cyrus Slams Rebecca Black and said : ( She Is Not Single)

Miley Cyrus was once a burgeoning 13-year-old star herself, so why is she hating on young Rebecca Black?
"It should be harder to be an artist," Cyrus pined to Australia's Daily Telegraph when asked about
the rising viral sensation and her new song, 'Friday.' "You shouldn't just be able to put a song on YouTube and go out on tour."

Cyrus is no stranger to controversy, but to be fair, she has held it together better than most child-turned-adult stars. Upon turning 18 she's had to face the near-divorce of her parents, racy photos being leaked, the cancellation of 'Hannah Montana' and, of course, the whole salvia bong-smoking incident. But don't look for her to take to the social airwaves to complain about it.

"I do not tweet, I do not social network, I try to stay out of it," she admitted. "For me, I complain enough about people knowing too much about my private life, so to go out there and exploit myself would be silly and hypocritical of what I stand for."

Cyrus is dealing with it the way she was raised by her father Billy Ray Cyrus to deal with it: by singing. "I don't lip-sync," she said proudly. "I would rather someone say I sang like crap than have people see me lip-sync."

Scaling back her stage performance, Cyrus was interviewed by The Daily Telegraph in advance of the Australian leg of her 'Gypsy Heart' tour, and she was excited to share that this set of shows features fewer costume changes, some acoustic songs and a set list influenced by shout-outs from the crowd -- all for a ticket price under $100. But will she be traveling alone?

"I don't want to cross out the Australian boys, but I may or may not be single ... I'm definitely not coming to Australia single."

Miley Cyrus on Rebecca Black: (It Should Be Harder to Be An Artist)

While Simon Cowell, Lady Gaga, Chris Brown, Nick Jonas and Justin Bieber may support Rebecca Black, you won’t find Miley Cyrus covering or praising her catchy ditty “Friday.” The 18-year-old
singer voiced her opinion on the 13-year-old Internet sensation in a recent interview, and she didn’t have anything nice to say.

From her salvia bong incident to family drama and relationship scandals, the 18-year-old singer is now remaining very focused on her singing career, which she has no regrets about.

“It should be harder to be an artist,” Miley told Australia’s Daily Telegraph, via the New York Daily News. “You shouldn’t just be able to put a song on YouTube and go out on tour.”

Rebecca, who gained more than 16 million YouTube views in less than a week after debuting the heavily auto-tuned song “Friday” which has now reached over 65 million views, is on track to make hundreds of thousands of dollars from her catchy song.

Even Lady Gaga praised Rebecca’s work, Tweeting recently: “I say Rebecca Black is a genius and that anybody telling her she’s cheesy is full of s**t.”

But Miley is far from impressed.

“I would rather someone say I sang like crap, than have people see me lip-sync,” she said. “There’ll be acoustic things, songs I’ve never done on tour before.”

Looks like the former Disney star won’t be following the path of ex Nick Jonas or JB when it comes to covering “Friday.”

Miley Cyrus Cover of (Every Rose Has Its Thorn) to Be Released as Single

Much to the delight of everyone who loves hearing teenage girls cover '80s power ballads, Miley Cyrus' highly anticipated cover of Poison's 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn' may yet see the light of
day.

The release of the single was delayed after tabloid reports surfaced that Poison frontman Bret Michaels was having an affair with Miley's mother, Tish, allegedly a contributing factor in her split from husband Billy Ray Cyrus.

Both Michaels and Tish Cyrus have vehemently denied the allegations, which is further supported by Billy Ray's recent decision to call off the couple's divorce.

Michaels confirmed to E! Online that the single will likely come out later this year, now that the rumors have subsided. "The record label was supposed have to this huge humongous release of 'Every Rose,'" said Michaels. "It was going to be Miley's next-step song, but because of that, they stepped back."

"It really bummed me out," says Michaels regarding the record company's initial decision to postpone the release.

Despite the setback, Michaels is sure that his song will be a success for the young star. "I think this is the song that will cross her over. If it happens, it's going to be a big hit.

Billy Ray Cyrus Calls Off His Divorce

Billy Ray Cyrus wants to get his family back together. Though he filed for divorce from his wife, Tish, in October of last year, it seems he's had a change of heart.

"I've dropped the divorce," Cyrus, 49, told the ladies on 'The View' (via PEOPLE.] "I want to put my family back together ... Things are the best they've ever been." His full interview will air on Friday.

"I feel like I got my Miley back," he added during Thursday's taping. "I feel like we're the daddy and daughter we were before 'Hannah Montana.'"

Just last month, in a lengthy profile for GQ, Cyrus blamed the Disney show 'Hannah Montana' for the current trouble in his family, which includes his divorce from wife of 17 years.

"I hate to say it, but yes, I do. I'd take it back in a second," he said of the show, which shot Miley to stardom.

He also claimed he'd been made the "fall guy" for whenever negative news surrounds his family, referencing his daughter's Vanity Fair cover shoot controversy, in which the teenage star was photographed with just a sheet covering her.

"Every time the train went off the track ... her people, or as they say in today's news, her handlers, every time they'd put [the blame on] me ... I took it because I'm her daddy ... OK, nail me to the cross," he told GQ.

But now he's focusing on fixing his family. "'Hannah Montana' didn't ruin my family," he said during the 'View' taping. "Fame did."

"Sometimes when you get in this ride," he said concluded, "you feel like you're strapped to a rocket."

Miley Cyrus yelling at some photographers again (Photos)

Miley Cyrus yelling at some photographers for getting a little too close to her and her mom as they left a Los Angeles eatery. Apparently a photographer bumped into Tish as he tried to pass her to
snap photos of Miley, and she immediately came to the defense of her mom.

It looks like Miley isn't quite done with her outrage toward photographers following her every move. Check out the photos below to see Miley shove another paparazzo's camera out of her face.

Miley Cyrus Reprimands Paparazzi

Fresh off her 'Saturday Night Live' hosting gig, where she squashed rumors and won over many of her critics, Miley Cyrus was back in California fending off the paparazzi.

Cyrus has never been one afraid to show some attitude, and yesterday was no exception. The pop star is seen here giving a photographer a piece of her mind, complete with a stern finger wagging in his face.

Cyrus and her mom Tish were leaving the California Chicken Cafe in West Hollywood when the photographer set her off.

Check out the photos below and see Miley give the paparazzi's camera a shove!

Miley Cyrus Plays Justin Bieber, Fergie on (SNL)

It had to happen. All season, cast newcomer Vanessa Bayer has been parodying Miley Cyrus in recurring 'Saturday Night Live' sketches. And this weekend, with Cyrus trying her hand at hosting
'SNL,' the 18-year-old got to share a 'Miley Cyrus Show' scene with Bayer -- coming face to face with the shrill, pleased-with-herself caricature the comedienne has perfected since the spoof's debut last fall.

The former 'Hannah Montana' star brought just the right amount of swagger to her Justin Bieber impersonation (surely the 'swagger coach' was a big help), and things got pretty meta when Bayer mentioned salvia to "Justin" and tried (unsuccessfully) to get Cyrus to utter the sketch's "Pretty cool!" tagline.

Later in the 'SNL' broadcast, Cyrus belted her heart out as Fergie, and gyrated onstage at inopportune moments to crash a hilarious segment ostensibly devoted to two lesser-known Black Eyed Peas: Taboo (Andy Samberg) and apl.d.ap (Kenan Thompson).

First, check out 'The Miley Cyrus Show' for the Bieber impersonation. And after the jump, see Cyrus have the time of her life as Fergie.

'Hannah Montana' destroyed family, Miley's dad says

NASHVILLE: Billy Ray Cyrus says the Disney TV show "Hannah Montana" destroyed his family, causing his divorce and sending daughter Miley Cyrus spinning out of control.

In a December interview published in the Feb. 22 issue of GQ Magazine, Cyrus said he wished the show that launched his daughter to pop stardom had never happened.

"I hate to say it, but yes, I do. Yeah. I'd take it back in a second," Cyrus said. "For my family to be here and just be everybody OK, safe and sound and happy and normal, would have been fantastic. Heck, yeah. I'd erase it all in a second if I could."

Cyrus and his wife, Tish, filed for divorce in October. They have three kids together - Miley is the oldest - and two from Tish's previous marriage.

Billy Ray Cyrus said when he asked about the rumored video footage of his daughter smoking from a bong at her 18th birthday party in December, he was told it was none of his business. He refused to attend the party, saying it was wrong to have it in a bar.

Cyrus, a native of Flatwoods, Ky., had his own success as a country singer beginning in the early 1990s with his huge hit "Achy Breaky Heart."

Cyrus says in the interview that he tried too hard to be a friend instead of a parent to his daughter. He said he is scared for Miley and compared her current path to those of other stars whose lives ended tragically, including Kurt Cobain, Anna Nicole Smith and Michael Jackson.

"I should have been a better parent," Cyrus said. "I should have said, 'Enough is enough - it's getting dangerous and somebody's going to get hurt.' I should have, but I didn't. Honestly, I didn't know the ball was out of bounds until it was way up in the stands somewhere."

He said his entire family was baptized before leaving Tennessee for Los Angeles to protect themselves from evil, and he believes Satan is attacking his family.

"It's the way it is," Cyrus said. "There has always been a battle between good and evil. Always will be. You think, 'This is a chance to make family entertainment, bring families together ...' and look what it's turned into." (Rueters)

Miley Cyrus voted 'Worst Celeb Influence'

Miley Cyrus has been announced the worst celebrity influence of 2010, for the second time in a row now.

The 18-year-old took in a whopping 58 percent of the 99,000 votes in the poll for AOL''s JSYK.com (Just So You Know) website, which has a target audience of 9-15 year olds.

While last year she beat Kanye West and Britney Spears, this time she has toppled Lindsay Lohan volatile "Teen Mom" Amber Portwood and punch-happy Disney star Demi Lovato.

First she was caught on video smoking Salvia from a bong in December, and then photographed lifting her shirt almost to her chest in a series of scandalous photos taken at a gay club, reports the New York Daily News.

In May, she was criticized after a video showed the then 16-year-old "dirty dancing" at a wrap party for "The Last Song" with Adam Shankman, the film''s much-older producer.

Her outfits caused quite a stir too - with the singer choosing to wear lingerie-like outfits during a number of concerts and writhing around in a bed while barely dressed for her "Who Owns My Heart?" music video, drawing the ire of the Parents Television Council.

In Captivity for the First Time: Aves Cyrus

Quick post on Miley Cyrus' latest video (yawn, I know), no time to elaborate really (exam on Friday, all finished on the 18th). Needless to say Miley's "evolution" is going exactly as someone who reads this blog would expect.

The British director Robert Hales has directed other videos from fellow Disney Monarchs Britney Spears, Jonas Brothers and some other videos I have covered (Demi Lovato . From the introduction, you get the feeling of a Nazi-like American elite viewing their dehumanized ritualistic creature spreading her dark angel wings (Lucifer?), naturally a stuffed ram for Baphomet rears it's head among all the bird (Avez just means bird btw; so 'Bird Cyrus') feathery dehumanization. Miley's peacock feathers are another commonly used symbolic ritual feature (eyes, royalty, Hera and such).

I am led to believe that the top album artwork is fake but the image on it of her in a more constrained bird cage does come from the shoot for the video (I have a suspicion that it was going to be official but they got cold feet about putting such a psychologically dark image on her album cover), the photo itself has not been released so am including it here.

See more of the bird cage MK theme (and plenty more dotted around the blog), at it's simplest it is just psychological symbolism of being a beautiful creature kept in a metaphorical cage (mental prison/slavery) but perhaps (or not) 'Avez Cyrus' is the name of her 'caged bird' alter. The video even features a shattered glass scene as the frenzied animalistic group of Miley and co run through the museum, symbolizing the shattered/fragmented mind part of the programming.

Miley's painful looking movie 'The Last Song' (from the author of 'The Notebook'... kill me now, I am not sitting through this!) has Miley's daddy played by Greg Kinnear (whose father worked for the government, has been in some pertinent movies) in an interesting looking T-Shirt, wink wink from her handlers ;)? Sorry if I am being a bit too irreverent at times (I'm sure it annoys some) but like I said, there is no point in feeling overwhelmed, utterly powerless and getting depressed over these things. Anyone who wants to analyze in detail the video and the lyrics (which have MK themes in them) in the comments feel free (very short of time, another post up in a few days), I appreciate your input; also Public Vigil has a post on MC for a deeper look at the esoteric/mythological themes which are worth looking at. Alternatively here is Hollywood Records (Disney) humorous description of the song: "a self-empowering song in which Miley asserts that she has to stay true to herself in relationships". And her official descriptions of the meaning of lyrics and video, again a nice little story but one that doesn't sit with its dark themes (obviously completely ignoring the, very intentional negative impact this will have on her Hannah Montana Disney fan base of [already over sexualized by Disney] young girls).
Looks like a rock band (most of them long before my time, though I vaguely recognize it) t-shirt so someone can probably fill me in on where exactly it is from and get a better image of the motif (Edit: I'm told it it is Pink Floyd which makes sense, I searched for it and uploaded the full shirt to my imageshack), the "Illuminati" symbolism is clear and obviously conscious on the part of the filmmakers, and putting it on display in the trailer makes it all the more likely that someone like myself would notice it.
