BARTENDAZ - Positive Physical Fitness the Bartendaz Way

Bartendaz, as the name implies, was once a conglomeration bartenders in New York City. Founded by Hassan Yassin, Hassan led these bartenders to undergo innovative fitness drills at a park in Harlem. Later on, the group called the methods of physical training they used as Bartendaz, as it was now taught in 40 New York City Public Schools.



Now, they are under the wing of Constellation, a non-profit physical fitness organization. What has been attained is that, aside from the muscular strength and physical wellness gained by the youth under the Bartendaz program, this program also helped the youth in Harlem to channel their energies into positive activities so that they will cannot involve themselves in vices and delinquency. Aside from the cool routines, Bartendaz also uses hiphop music to match their various exercises.

In other words, Bartendaz bestowed positive gratification and peer validation in fitness for many youths to concentrate more in doing good in their lives. Because of the huge success of Bartendaz, this program can now be purchased on DVD (see Bartendaz website).

USNS IMPECCABLE -- It's Not IMPECCABLE to be Harrassed By Chinese Ships

USNS Impeccable is a United States surveillance ship that is making rounds in the South China Sea to foresee potential threats that North Korea is undertaking. However, it came as surprise that the Chinese government appeared to be hostile with USNS Impeccable because the Pentagon already announced that Chinese-led ships have already exhibited "increasingly aggressive conduct" in the past week.



Does this mean that United States will have problems with China in the future? The crew of USNS Impeccable denounced the strange actuations of five Chinese vessels that came too close for comfort into the US Naval ship. Because one Chinese ship won't get away from USNS Impeccable, the US ship have made an emergency stop in the middle of the sea to thwart collision. The Chinese even "dropped pieces of wood in the water directly in front of Impeccable's path."

Gargiulo's DNA was matched with the one found in Ashley's body, while he was being held on suspicion of the m1u-r-d=er of a Santa Monica woman last year. HARRY POTTER ACTOR KILLED last year attains justice

A Harry Potter actor was killed May 28 last year outside a bar in East London, while he was trying to protect his younger brother. Rob Knox, who will appear in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to be released in November 2009, will play the role of Marcus Belby. Knox will never see this film because of the unfortunate stabbing incident. Fortunately, the man who killed him was already adjudged as guilty yesterday.



The Harry Potter actor killed was just 18 years old. In the Old Baily, the court already judged the perpetrator who is identified as Karl Bishop as guilty. Bishop stabbed Knox five times until he was passed out of life. Bishop could be incarcerated behind the clapper for life because of this stabbing incident. Roxana Saberi on the Rocks in Iran

American journalist Roxana Saberi detained in Iran.

A 31 year old lady journalist is now the subject of concern by her parents. Her father, Reza Saberi, says that the safety of Roxana Saberi might be in jeopardy. Roxana was arrested a month ago while she went to buy wine when a store owner reported her. If you are not aware of it, alcoholic drinks are "hot goods" in some Arab or Muslim countries. This was the reason why the police in Iran arrested Roxana Saberi.

After her arrest, Roxana Saberi instructed her parents not to announce this incident to the media, since it will just complicate the case as she was scheduled for release 18 days ago. Until now, Roxana had never contacted her father about her condition.

Roxana Saberi was formerly Miss North Dakota. FOXNews.com revealed that "moved to Iran six years ago and had previously reported for NPR, the BBC and FOX News". Because of this incident, Roxana Saberi was confiscated of her press credentials, that is why she cannot "work as a journalist". We sure hope that Roxana will just emerge fine and unharmed from this imbroglio.

Asa Yamashita: Teacher Knifed Out of Her Life(VIDEO)

Asa Yamashita was a soft-spoken English teacher from Waianae High School. As she was sitting on a bench eating saimin (Hawaiian noodle soup) outside the Ewa Town Center, Asa was brutally stabbed by a 25 year old unidentified shirtless Filipino man (UPDATE: He was not Filipino, the man was Samoan named Tittleman Fauatea) in broad daylight, in front of shocked on-lookers.

The suspect is now under custody by the Kapolei Police. This is a very unfortunate incident because Asa Yamashita seemed to be a good educator to her students. The police should be watchful enough about these random k1-llers who lurk and just stab anyone like that.

Grim Sleeper Ser-ial K-iller on the Loose in LA (Video)

Who's afraid of the Grim Sleeper? You should, since he is the modern day Jack the Ripper. For 22 years this particular serial killer has claimed the lives of at least 11 young women involved in either selling their bodies or prohibited substances. The Grim Sleeper se-ri-al kil-le-r was last heard in 2007 when a 911 call reported a suspicious man dump a woman's body. Now, new attention to old evidence would now identify this wily se-ria-l k-il-ler.

Already a $500,000 reward has been raised to capture the Grim Sleeper. The police and investigators are concentrating on a case of Barbara Ware, 23, who was found lying in a pool of blood in a decrepit South Los Angeles alley. With the DNA technology already in full swing, investigators are looking at a new light on all these case of mysterious case be solved after so many years.

I Am Extremely Digging Psychic Twins and Grandview Topless Coffee Shop

Anyway, the Psychic Twins appeared in the Tyra Banks Show last Monday. They are Terry and Linda Jamison. Allegedly, they prophesied JFK Jr.'s demise. On the other hand, a new unique coffee shop has been earning attention over Vassalboro, Maine. It is where baristas bare their bosoms to ogling customers. It is aptly named Grandview Topless Coffee Shop.

With a lot of house foreclosures going on in the US, homeowners are left with no choice but to take these matters not sitting down but in court. Homeowners demand to produce the note in line with their belief that they were unjustly treated through unsatisfactory and surreptitious lending terms.

Many homeowners are decrying that lenders have extremely violated terms in the Truth in Lending Act and that they were made to sign in loans they could barely afford. Foreclosures in Chicago and Florida has been sending off people scared to lose their homes and now they are organizing themselves so that they could push lenders to "produce the note". Gmail Down - Gmail Goes Pfft in Some Areas

Everyone seems to be in panic as "gmail goes down", "gmail not working" and "gmail problems" search began to shoot up like hot rocks from a raging volcano. As you should know, Gmail has 25 million users around the globe and the report says that 33 percent of these subscribers are affected.

The problem started 9:30 AM GMT as the Gmail monitoring systems noted that "consumer and businesses accounts worldwide could not get access to their email". The Guardian UK had obtained a statement from a Gmail representative which says:

A number of users are having difficulty accessing Gmail and we're working to resolve the problem. We know how important Gmail is to users so we are taking this very seriously and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We encourage anyone having technical difficulties to visit the Gmail help centre at mail.google.com/support.

The estimated loss from this technical problem was said to amount at $50 per hour in productivity loss. So all in all, this glitch is costing as much as $415 million economic cost per hour. That's too much money! I guess Gmail should resolve this glitch as soon as they can. Luckily for me, my Gmail still works. I guess I do not belong the the 33% of those affected.

Peril in the Lake - Deadly Oklahoma Octopus (Video)

We've heard of k1-]]er whales, sharks and piranhas, but violent octopuses (octopi?) are scary creatures we see in movies like James Bond. Yet, surprisingly, an alleged monstrous Oklahoma octopus is wreaking havoc against swimmers in Lake Tenkill3r and Lake Thunderbird. According to reports, a number of swimmers and boaters have been victimized by the enormous cephalopod.

As the video that was featured in Animal Planet's Lost Tapes, anyone will surely get the creeps when you see two girls in a boat, which is being knocked up by a giant octopus. Is this for real or is it just another prankster? Surely, the ancient legends from Native Americans who have encountered the Oklahoma octopus would be interested to qualify their claims. Just like the chupacabra, the Loch Ness and even the Bigfoot, every claim is just considered fictitious until a tangible and unquestionable evidence is produced. As for now, let us just watch the scary video of the Oklahoma octopus:

What can a 30 year old aspiring actor and model want more that he decided to end his life through hanging in the monkey bars of a playground in Brooklyn? Paul Zolezzi was good-looking and has a promising career ahead of him, yet his hero-1n add-1ct-1on had bereft him of achieving his dreams.

The suicide note he left in his status update shares an eerie message to his friends:

His mother Stephanie, revealed that Paul grew up without any daddy, who incidentally committed taking his life out too by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. For whatever other reasons Paul Zolezzi might have, may he rest in peace.

Freaky and Gigantic: Borneo Monster Photos Revealed

Who would not freak out to see a giant snake squirming its way on Baleh River in Borneo? That's right, it is the fabled Borneo Monster caught by aerial photographs and it is alarming residents in this Malaysian island.

All of us may have seen that crappy movie Anaconda with no less than Jennifer Lopez and it certainly gave us enough creeps. How about that real live and squirming giant monster snake found in Borneo? Although the veracity of the said photographs are still doubtful, Malaysia's Strait Times put the judgment in the hands of the readers. There have been legends in Borneo about a Nabau that feeds off livestock and medium-sized forest animals. It is named after an "ancient sea serpent which can transform itself into the shapes of different animals".



Last month, some scientists have also discovered the remains of a 45 feet long monster they christened as "Titanoboa". It's sheer size led them to believe that it eats crocodiles and giant turtles by wrangling them and swallowing them in an instant. Anyway, if this Borneo Monster is not a product of hoax-sters who are trying to pull a stunt, hunters in this Borneo should keep their eyes open before they are devoured alive by this mammoth snake!

Helpless Dolphins Stuck in Ice Need to be Rescued (VIDEO)

Dolphins are dubbed as the friendliest of the sea creatures. Compared to most animals, dolphins have superior intelligence. However, these dolphins near coastal village of Seal Cove in Newfoundland, Canada need to be rescued because they are trapped and helpless in a middle of an icy shore. People of Seal Cove are already alarmed about this situation and they are calling for help because the dolphins keep going round in circles, while "trying to keep this little pool of water open so that they can have their breathing area".

All around, one can see that there is just a tiny hole where the white-beaked dolphins can breathe. These dolphins do not have the capability to swim under the ice sheet because they need to surface in order to inhale oxygen.

The mayor of Seal Cove have already informed the Fisheries Department about the dangers faced by the dolphins if they are not rescued on time. Here's the video of the dolphins:

Chimp Rampage: Travis the Chimp Goes Wild

Limelight is not new for Travis the Chimp because he was already trained and domesticated enough to be included in TV commercials. However, it is bizarre that Travis the chimp went wild as he mauled a woman and an entire police squad in Stamford, Connecticut!

As of press time, it is still unknown why the chimp bit Charla Nash who was wounded as she went over to her neighbor to bring the chimp back in. As the police went on to assist Nash, Travis the Chimp continued to do damage as he smashed the police car mirrors. The violence of the chimp was thwarted after he was downed by a police.

Beverly Eckert in Colgan Flight 3407 in Buffalo

Of the 49 people killed in Colgan Flight 3407, Beverly Eckert was the grieving widow of Sean Rooney, a Buffalo native, who perished during the September 11 World Trade Center incident.

Fated aircraft which is 74-seat Q400 Bombardier Dash 8 turboprop commuter plane, operated by Colgan Air, met a bad luck during Friday the 13th. The Colgan flight 3407 were flying from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey and preparing to land at Buffalo Niagara International Airport. It crashed in in Clarence Center, a suburb of Buffalo, New York with 48 passengers in flight dead plus one person did not make it on the crash site. Right now, the authorities are blaming the weather in this tragic incident.

It is sad news hearing the passing of Beverly Eckert as one of 49 victims. Just last week Beverly Eckert was at the White House with President Barack Obama. They were holding a meeting with the president. The relatives of those killed 2001 and the bombing of the USS Cole consulted them how the new administration should treat terror suspects. Beverly Eckert's companion as 9/11 activist is crying over the severe loss, by saying that "She [Eckert] was such an important part of all of our work".

Galesnjak is a tiny island that is part of Croatia. A little geography lesson first, Croatia is right beside Italy, where the Adriatic Sea is in between them. The heart shaped island is uninhabited but since Google Earth had no qualms in showing its "lovable" shape to the world, the island is now renamed into "Lover's Island". Thousands of couples are now requesting to be one of the few people to visit the Valentine-themed island for themselves.

Vlado Juresko, the Croatian owner of the "Lover's Island", revealed that the requests have been incredible and they are trying to accommodate everyone as much as they can. Most people "think it is the most perfect heart-shaped island in the world", but no one lives there so if couples would want to share the night and spend time alone there, then it's the perfect island where they can spend Valentine's Day. Juresko emphasized that "We always thought it looked a bit like a heart but since it's been on Google Earth everyone else has seen it too and the whole world seems to want to stay here."

Located in the scenic Zadarski Kanal between Zadar and the Island of Pasman, adventurous couples might just want to be the lucky first few to visit this island in Croatia. Ranked as the 18th most popular tourist destination in the world, Croatia might offer more than just the romantic shape of Lover's Island. It's capital Zagreb has Baroque designed buildings that never fails to beguile everyone. Plus the scenic Mediterranean spots in Dubrovnic and the gorgeous landscapes will make any couple's day romantic as ever.
