Are you taking workout tips from Madonna? Ellie Goulding shows off muscular biceps and toned pins in Lycra

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Been working out much? Ellie Goulding showed off her biceps yesterday and is a keen runner, she revealed

She might have been leaving the ITV studios following a guest appearance on the Lorraine show, but Ellie Goulding looked like she was exiting the gym.

The Starry Eyed singer’s footwear might not have been gym friendly but her shiny Lycra tights and muscle T-shirt certainly were.

The 24-year-old strolled out of the studio in her peep-toe heels, showing off her very toned arms sparking comparison to Madonna’s bulging biceps.

Keeping fit: Goulding has also been announced as the new ambassador for SoBe, a range of vitamin infused water - which she is holding here

Perhaps Ellie has been inspired by the music legend to get fit and healthy for the upcoming summer.

After leaving the chat show, Ellie wrote on her Twitter page: ‘Was just on lovely Lorraine. Running/tattoos etc etc can be seen on facebook. Check out my awesome presenting skills. Ha’

Inspired by Madonna? Ellie showed similarities to the pop legend, who is famous for her muscles too

Ellie also revealed that she’s a keen runner and would be interested in living the Miami lifestyle of running along the beach.

She said: ‘I would love to live out there and run. I love the whole lifestyle.’

The platinum blonde star said she tries to run every day unless she’s too tired, adding: ‘It’s something I feel like, as long as I’ve got the mentality that running is part of my life and I have to do it to survive.

Busy at work: Ellie leaving the BBC Radio 1 studios in London earlier this month

‘It’s like eating and sleeping. If I do miss a day, I just make up for it the next time I go for a run.’

And the keen runner even gives her fans the chance to jog along with her through her runs with Nike.

The star gives fans from cities around the UK the opportunity to be her sidekick through her Facebook page.

Is that really you, Madonna? The Material Girl finally upgrades her wardrobe as she steps out in sophisticated and mature outfit

By Daily Mail Reporter

Who's That Girl? Madonna looked very chic and sophisticated as she stepped out in a pretty purple outfit in New York yesterday

We're so used to seeing Madonna dress like someone half her age that we almost didn't recognise her.

She looked more like her 52 years than she ever has as she stepped out in New York today to do some shopping.

The pop star looked very chic in a very pretty floral lavender dress which she had teamed with a lilac cardigan, tied in a knot at her waist.

Madonna topped the outfit off with an oversized black bag and towering pale purple shoes.

The demure outfit was certainly a far cry from some of the wardrobe choices she makes.

In recent weeks, Madonna has been going for a more mature look, as anyone at the recent fashion gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art would testify.

Dressing her age: Madonna ditched the 20-something attire for something more mature and becoming

On that night, which was dedicated to the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen, she looked sensational in a blue, floor-length silk Stella McCartney gown that was adorned with stars cascading down the back.

However, Madonna is usually seen dressing like a 20-something rock chick or in something that she should leave to her daughter Lourdes to model.

Take the Vanity Fair Oscars party, for example, when she arrived, with her teenage offspring, in a leotard covered with a lace, see-through dress which displayed her bottom.

Slobby: Madonna looked more suited to a night out clubbing than a serious director on the set of W.E. last September

Too much on show? Madonna has no problem flashing a bit of flesh, even in her 50s

In comparison, Lourdes was the more chic of the two in her aztec-print shift dress.

At the New York premiere of Nine in 2009, Madonna left little to the imagination in a low-cut black lace dress and when she opened her Hard Candy gym in Mexico last November, she wore a dress that did nothing for her at all.

Been raiding your daughter's wardrobe again? Madonna's outfit at her gym opening in Mexico would have been more suitable for someone younger

Madonna's Plan to Build Malawi School Falls Apart

A charity launched by Madonna is floundering after nearly $4 million was spent, with little to show for it, on plans to build a school in the impoverished African nation of Malawi.

Madonna has made regular visits to the country for her Raising Malawi foundation, to which she gave $11 million; she also adopted her youngest children David and Mercy in Malawi.

But now, the pop star's dream of building a $15 million school to educate approximately 400 girls has officially collapsed, according to the New York Times.

"A thoughtful decision has been made to discontinue plans for the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls, as it was originally conceived," Michael Berg said Thursday in an email to donors who supported the project. Berg is co-director of Los Angeles' Kabbalah Centre, and co-founder of Raising Malawi.

The foundation's board of directors has been replaced by Madonna and her manager, who join a newly formed "caretaker board."

Concerns of financial mismanagement arose in recent months. Cars, golf memberships, and a chauffeur for the school's director were described by auditors as "outlandish" wastes of money. The charity's former executive director, Tracy Anderson (boyfriend of Madonna's personal trainer), left Raising Malawi in October amid criticism of his management.

In a statement Thursday, Madonna said: "There's a real education crisis in Malawi....67 percent of girls don't go to secondary school, and this is simply unacceptable. Our team is going to work hard to address this in every way we can." In acknowledgment of her charity's failings, she said, "I'm frustrated that our education work has not moved forward in a faster way."

Government authorities in Malawi already displaced hundreds of locals from Chinkhota village, near the capitol city of Lilongwe, to accommodate construction of the school. Madonna's camp has yet to explain why she failed to act earlier on the crisis within her organization, which has raised $18 million so far. The Times was told Madonna was directing a movie about British royals, and therefore unavailable for an interview about the latest Raising Malawi news.

Meanwhile, the charity insists that Raising Malawi will not disband, but will redirect how it uses funds to help the poor in Malawi.

The Global Philanthropy Group says it advised Madonna months ago that millions were being ineffectively spent by her charity, and suggested she finance existing education programs instead of trying to launch a new school.

Trevor Neilson of the Global Philanthropy Group studied Raising Malawi's mistakes and told the Times, "Despite $3.8 million having been spent....the project has not broken ground, there was no title to the land and there was, over all, a startling lack of accountability on the part of the management team in Malawi and the management team in the United States." He added, "We have yet to determine exactly what happened to all of that $3.8 million. We have not accounted for all the funds that were used."

Housebreaking Madonna in London during the funeral of her grandmother

Madonna's guards managed to catch a person while trying to collect some Accessories, after storming home in the British capital London.

Has put forward Grzegorz Matlock, 29 years old, a land by the guard house, which consists of ten rooms, equipped with surveillance cameras and security in all its parts.

The magazine reported that The Sun Matlock was able to sneak into the house, which equals $ 10 million, having smashed a window, while the Madonna in the United States after the death of her grandmother.

The guards said the police officers who arrested Matlock, of Polish origin, he had already been chased and attacked by the singer.

For their part, regarded the police that what happened is very serious; as it was supposed to have a singer such as Madonna guarding impregnable, commensurate with its status as a pop singer months in the world.

The Madonna, 52 years old, had escorted her two children to look at the last farewell to her grandmother, Elsie Fortin Mia, who died last week at the age of 99 years.

And not particularly lovable pop star to her grandmother who raised her since she was five years old, with five brothers, after the death of their mother's cancer.

Madonna very Happy About Guy Ritchie Baby News

For all the flak Madonna occasionally takes for being a bit of an ice queen, the singer doesn't hold grudges. That's why she was delighted to hear that her ex-husband, director Guy Ritchie, 42, has
officially moved on and will be starting a family with his model girlfriend, Jacqui Ainsley, 29.

Friends of the singer tell us that Madonna moved on from her relationship with Ritchie years ago, from an emotional standpoint, so she is happy that he is finally settling down and getting serious.

Ritchie and Madonna share custody of their biological son Rocco, 10, and adopted son David Banda, 5. They divorced in 2008. The split was amicable, and Ritchie said in 2009 that he still had warm and fuzzy feelings for his ex-wife.

"And, of course, here you go: I still love her," he told Esquire. "She's a manifester, if there ever was one. First-rate manifester. Madonna makes things happen. Put Madonna up against any 23-year-old, she'll outwork them, outdance them, outperform them."

Since their split, Madonna has squired a slew of much younger men around the globe, among them, a pair of 24-year olds, Brahim Zaibat and Jesus Luz.

Ritchie and Ainsley have been seeing one another for about a year, and the British press is reporting that they plan to marry within the next 12 months. No word on whether Madge will be invited to the ceremony.
