Hand-standing tall: Breathtaking view from glass boxes 1,353 feet in the air over the Windy City’s skyline

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

No fear: A woman performs a handstand in one of the boxes that form 'the ledge', which stand 1,353ft above the Chicago skyline

Jutting four and a half feet outside of the Willis Tower in Chicago, 'The Ledge' is definitely not for the faint-hearted.

But trying telling that to this daredevil who performed a handstand 1,353 feet above the city's skyline.

The unnamed man performed the trick in one of the four glass boxes that are giving unparalleled views across the Windy City from America's tallest building.

Extending out of the 103rd floor of the 110-storey building, each one of the fully retractable boxes that make up The Ledge weighs in at 1,500 pounds.

The three inch glass gives never-before-seen views of the city, and allows visitors to see for 50 miles around.

Spectacular: The boxes that jut out from the Willis Tower provide never-before-seen views of the city, and allows spectators to see for 50 miles around

Inspired by the film 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off', where the title character encourages his friends to lean their heads against the glass of the Willis Tower's public Skydeck, The Ledge has quickly become a city favourite.

'You only need to see the forehead prints on the windows to know that visitors are constantly trying to catch a glimpse below, said Randy Stancik, general manager of the Skydeck Chicago.

Don't look down: Visitors are protected from the 103-storey drop by three inches of glass

Opened in 1974, the Willis Tower was formerly known around the world as the Sears Tower and is still the tallest building in the United States.

'The Ledge's glass boxes extend from the Skydeck, providing unobstructed views straight down,' said a spokesperson for the Skydeck at the Willis Tower.

'Each box provides unobstructed views of people, taxis, boats and bridges over Wacker Drive and the Chicago River.'

America's tallest: The Willis Tower, formerly the Sears Tower, is the world's fifth tallest building. The four viewing boxes can be seen on the third windows down from the top

No high heels needed: Jessie J ditches shoes mid-way through BGT performance

By SARAH FITZMAURICE

Leggy lady: Jessie pranced around the stage on her tip toes showing off her legs

As she began her performance on Britain’s Got Talent Jessie J stood tall in a pair of high black heels.

But perhaps the height got the better of her as midway through her set the singer,23, decided to ditch her shoes.

It is not clear if the heels were uncomfortable or whether the removal of her footwear was part of her set but Jessie continued her act barefoot.

Standing tall: Jessie J emerged on stage on Britain's Got Talent last night showing off her slim pins in a black body with a see-though train

The Price Tag singer made her entrance in a black body with a sheer trail showing off her enviable figure.

Her trim waist was emphasised by a belt and her legs looked amazing as she strutted around the stage performing Mama Knows Best.

But even when she had ditched the shoes she still showed off a pair of perfect pins and tip toed around.

Getting more comfortable: Midway through her set Jessie removed her shoes and carried on singing her Mama Knows Best track barefoot

Jessie was clearly feeling patriotic while on the talent show and sported Union Jack lips.

And in a nod to Simon Cowell she changed a line in her song to Simon Knows Best.

Belting it out: Jessie, whose tour tickets go on sale today changed a lyric of her song to Simon Knows Best

Sitting pretty: Jesse gave an exuberant rendition of her song Mama Knows Best before taking a seat

Following her performance the singer tweeted: ‘I loved BGT tonight! So much love from my #heartbeats right off to bed for 5 hours off to Germany in the morning x’
Tickets for Jessie’s Heartbeats tour go on sale today and see tickets.jessiejofficial.com.

The final for Britain’s Got Talent takes place tomorrow night on ITV.

Eva Longoria shows Megan Fox a clean pair of heels when it comes to looking casual AND stylish

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Walking tall: Eva Longoria made an effort as she headed to a Beverly Hills beauty salon today in killer pink heels complete with a designer handbag while Megan Fox was let down by flip flops and a cap on her visit

Eva Longoria and Megan Fox both paid visits to their respective beauty salons today in Beverly Hills.

But when it came to being picture perfect, it was only Eva who was ready for her close up.

The 36-year-old Desperate Housewives star clearly takes her pampering regime very seriously, stepping out in a casual but stylish ensemble of jeans, a white shirt and killer pink heels.

I am ready for my close up: The Desperate Housewives star managed to make a pair of jeans and white shirt look very stylish

She teamed her look with a designer handbag and there was not a hair out of place to bee seen with her tresses gathered into a neat half ponytail.

Megan, meanwhile, was also wearing a shirt, but was let down by her leggings, flip flops and cap.

The 25-year-old former Transformers star was snapped arriving at another salon in Beverly Hills

Not a hair out of place: She wore her hair in a half ponytail and spent three hours being pampered

But she was clearly in no mood to be pictured, keeping her eyes firmly to the ground.

Eva, though, was only too happy to pose for the waiting paparazzi.

After three hours of pampering - which she hardly needed - Eva headed out to the shops - probably to stock up on more supplies for her wardrobe.

Revealed: The moment Kris Humphries proposed to Kim in Keeping Up With The Kardashians

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Happy couple: Fans hear the moment Kris proposes in the promo, but will have to wait to see the action

When Kim Kardashian headed to Bora Bora with her family and boyfriend Kris Humphries to film Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she had no idea she would be receiving a proposal.

And fans of the show are being teased with a tantalising audio clip of the 30-year-old responding in utter shock to the heartfelt offer in the new promotional clip for the series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Kim can be heard gasping after Kris asks her to marry at him at the end of the video, though the moment itself is not shown.

It will be featured as part of the next season, however, which premieres June 12 at 10 p.m. (EST) on E!.

Tradition: Humphries asks Bruce Jenner for permission to ask Kim

And there are plenty of juicy trailers in the montage, including the moment when 26-year-old basketball pro asks Kim's step-dad, Bruce Jenner, for his permission for her hand in marriage.

'Really? You're getting that serious?' Jenner asks the 6ft9 NBA star, who bought a 20.5-carat Lorraine Schwartz sparkler to suggest he was deadly so.

Although Kim kept her engagement a big secret, the brunette, whose exes include Reggie Bush and Halle Berry's model ex, Gabriel Aubry, has enthused to Us Weekly about her future husband.

Not husband material: Scott Disick's problem drinking is highlighted

Anger: Kourtney defends her relationship with Disick to her mother

'He just has a really good heart," she said over Valentine's Day. 'There has to be trust and honesty and chemistry. If you don't have any of those, it's never going to work.'

Also in the clip, Kim's mother Kris Jenner is shown telling her daughter: 'This is no normal vacation. This is a huge test of your relationship.'

Tease: This is the footage shown when the proposal clip is played, but fans must wait to see the scene

The sixth season also sees the matriarch consider changing her name back to Kardashian, despite her union with Jenner, according to the trailer.

Meanwhile, she lambasts daughter Kourtney, 32 , for considering the thought of a second child with boyfriend Scott Disick, 28 , while they remain unmarried.

The pair already share adorable Mason, one, but club promoter Disick's drinking is a problem, another theme highlighted in this sneak preview.

Romanian dancer Razy and singer Michael through to Britain's Got Talent final

By JODY THOMPSON

Jedward make a surprise appearance too - along with Kate and Wills lookalikes

JLS and Diversity team up for the first time in the result show

Anger: A clearly furious Simon Cowell began the last live semi-final of Britain's Got Talent tonight with a statement denying fix allegations over the show

Simon Cowell launched a furious tirade against allegations that Britain's Got Talent was fixed tonight at the start of the last semi-final which saw Romanian dancer Razy Gogonea and caravan dwelling singer Michael Collings go through to the final.

Before an act had even stepped foot on stage however for the last chance to appear in tomorrow's grand finale, the show's head judge blasted the claims that BGT was rigged.

Simon continued: 'He's just 12 years old and this is a deliberate smear campaign.

It's my job to make sure that this liar is exposed and this kid is treated the same as everyone else and the public will decide.'

Simon hit out after someone claiming to be a Sony Records executive posted the allegations anonymously in an online blog.

Big sound: Michael Collings won through to the finals of Britain's Got Talent with his soulful version of Paul Weller's You Do Something To Me

It wasn't the only shock of the night either.

Despite Simon's decision to bring back French dancer Michael Moral as a wild card - even though he was voted out of the competition by the judges last Sunday - he failed to win through again.

And there was also a surprise performance from Jedward, who somewhat inexplicably appeared as backing dancers - along with Prince William and Kate lookalikes dressed in wedding attire - for contestant Antonio Popeye's bizarre eye bulging act.

Gravity defying: Romanian Razy Gogonea, who lives in Manchester with his Lancastrian fiancée was the outright winner of tonight's semi with his Matrix-inspired dance routine

However, there were few eyebrows raised when the outright winner of the public vote on tonight's show was Romanian dancer Razy before the judges decided he should be joined in the final by soulful singer Michael Collings.

They will join the likes of 12-year-old singer Ronan Parke, boyband New Bounce, impressionist Les Gibson, comedy dancer Steven Hall and singer Jai McDowall in the grand final tomorrow night on ITV1 at 7pm.
